The summer is getting hotter with the hot rays of the sun. Heat problems are growing. The rays are attacking the skin with all harshness. The rays are most intense during the peak hours between 10 AM and 4 PM.

The rays will be stronger and more dangerous at higher places of altitude closer to the tropics. They are also very dangerous when they are reflected off water, sand or even snow. The people who go out during these peak hours to do outdoor works or to enjoy sunbath should be very careful. They

may find the heat pleasing to the skin. It is a kind of a beetle enjoying the heat of a light! You should be aware that these hot rays are quite dangerous!

Protect your skin with some first aid remedies

Sunburn is the dangerous problem that occurs when you go out in the summer sun. You may find some obvious signs of sunburn on your skin. It may look red and, in some severe cases, there may be blisters and swelling.  

1) As for the first aid, try some home remedies such as applying cold compresses to the afflicted areas.

2) You may apply creams or gels that contain menthol camphor on the skin.

3) It is good to administer some non-steroidal and anti-inflammatory drug you may have at home that may relieve your pain and

swelling as early as possible.

4) Above all, it is very essential to hydrate your body by drinking a lot of fluid.

5) Try to protect yourself from the sun until the sunburn heals.

Health experts say that medical attention is necessary if you find the severe signs of sunburn. The signs of sunburn may be accompanied by high fever, chills, severe pain all over the body, blisters in many parts of the body and dehydration. You may feel extremely thirsty and dryness in mouth, accompanied with an experience of dizziness.

The best way to avoid sunburn is to prevent the situations that lead to this problem, if you suspect you may get it. Do not go into the sun during the peak hours of the sun rays. Apply sunscreen to protect your ears, nose, neck and the other exposed parts of the skin. It is very necessary after swimming and severe sweating. Wearing broad brimmed hats and sunglasses is prudent. Lip balm with sunscreen is available today.
